Please note: All rentals must be secured by a valid CREDIT CARD. A pre-authorisation of $1,000 will be processed to your credit card for vehicle security.
Should you be using a DEBIT CARD as vehicle security, a bond of equivalent to the supplier's excess will be held for the entire rental period. This bond will be fully refunded on the return of an undamaged vehicle. The use of DEBIT CARDS as vehicle security will also incur a 5% surcharge on the full cost of the rental.
When booking your hire, please ensure you notify us of the correct arrival destination as we will not be held responsible for the wrong location of your hire. In this case, you are responsible for all costs of locating and picking up of your vehicle hire with us.

We offer a flexible personal service to Gold Coast Airport. Our Representative will meet and greet you with a sign in the airport arrivals lounge and walk you to your car outside. Any paperwork needed is completed onsite and you are free to start your trip!
If your flight is delayed our representative will wait for you to arrive.
Please make sure you give us your flight details and arrival time when you place a booking with us online. If you do not have these details handy at time of booking please send these to us after your booking has been confirmed.
Star Rent A Car will reconfirm exact pick up and drop off time and arrangements after your booking has been initially confirmed.
Drop Offs.
Again Star Rent A Car are very flexible with drop offs. These can be any time 6am – 10pm 7 days a week. You can drop off at a Hotel location or back at the Airport. There is no extra charge for any of these location drop offs. If for some reason you need to pick up or drop off outside of our normal hours please speak to us as we should be able to accommodate this as well.

Pick Ups and Drop offs
Pick ups and Drop offs must be within office hours. If a flight is delayed and falls outside the normal hours when the flight was originally in normal hours then there will be no cost for them. Please contact us if your flight is delayed.

At Coolangatta/Gold Coast Airport, the operator of Australia Rent A Car has rental desks in the arrivals hall of all terminals - Virgin Blue/International Terminal and Qantas/Jetstar Terminal. Proceed to the desk where a representative of Australia Rent A Car will complete your rental agreement and provide directions to your vehicle.
Returning To Coolangatta Airport
Drive along the Coolangatta Highway until you reach Coolangatta/Gold Coast Airport and turn into Terminal Drive and head towards the car rental returns car park.
Park your vehicle in one of the designated parking bays. Bays are 34 - 43 at the Qantas end of the carpark.
Return the car keys to the supplier counter in the terminal.

Hire Office Hours
Monday to Friday: 7am-7pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am-5pm
Pick Ups and Drop offs
Pick ups and Drop offs must be within office hours. Please contact us once you have collected your luggage and/or cleared customs and a driver will be sent to collect you and take you to our branch where you can collect your vehicle.
After Hour Pick Ups
We will allow pick ups at any time, however there will be a $55 fee for after hour pick ups. For after hour pick ups you will collect your car up from our airport office.
After Hour Drop Offs
If you wish to drop off your vehicle after office hours please park in the car park at the airport, either international or domestic. There will be a $16.50 parking fee and $55 service fee for after hours drop-offs. If you drop off the vehicle at the airport office we will take you to the airport on our shuttle for free. Please inform us direct if you are planning to drop your vehicle off after hours.

Vehicle Pick up / Drop off
M2000 do not have a rental desk at Gold Coast / Coolangatta International Airport, when you have landed, collected your bags and cleared customs (international arrivals) please contact our Gold Coast / Coolangatta Airport office (the phone number will be provided on your confirmation letter). A member of staff will direct you to the designated CUSTOMER PICK UP POINT. Our shuttle bus will collect you from this point and take you back to our offices to process your paper work. The shuttle bus will take approximately 15 minutes. The vehicle is to be returned to our office at the end of rental and a free shuttle bus will take you back to your departure terminal.
After Hours Service
M2000 offer after hours collections and returns however these must be agreed to by the supplier prior to collection. Please note that a surcharge of $33.00 will apply once for each journey (ie if both collection and return are outside of office hours a fee of $66.00 will apply).
Pick Up/drop off instructions (Out of office hours):
Upon confirmation of your reservation an e-mail will be sent to you from the location with a manual rental agreement to complete, Pick up and drop off instructions and the Terms and Conditions of hire. The signed manual rental agreement will need to be sent back to the location by either e-mail or fax along with a copy of the driving licences of all designated drivers.
Late Return
M2000 offers a grace period of 15 minutes on the last rental day, after which late return charges are as follows:
1 -3 hours: 1/3 of the current daily rate will apply.
3+ hours: one full day of the current daily rate will apply.

We meet all flights, however if your flight arrives before 7am or after 6pm, then a fee of $30.00 will apply. Please select this at time of booking. Vehicles can be returned at no additional charge, 24 hours per day.
This supplier is based at the airport and your vehicle will be available there for collection. You will be met by a representative who will have a sign with your name and flight number.
NB: Prior to collection it is essential that you advise your flight number and arrival time.
